By accessing the website, becoming a member, or attending our events, you agree to the terms of this Policy. We will update this Privacy Statement from time to time. Data we collect may include (but is not limited to): name, address, e-mail, and occupation.
We collect data to provide services such as membership and participation in events, and to conduct our operations. We also use your data to communicate with you including newsletters, surveys, and responding to any message or inquiry you send us. We also collect data to comply with our legal obligations, and any other purpose made known to you when collecting the personal information.
We collect data through website entry, social media interactions, emails sent to info@womeninspace.co.nz, or third-party services such as Eventbrite.
We may use images taken at meetings or events hosted by WISANZ or other organizations in our newsletters, social media, website, or other WISANZ marketing material. We will not use images of minors who are identifiable without parental consent.
If a distinguished guest (such as a Member of Parliament) is attending a WISANZ event, we may provide a list of attendees to the office of the distinguished guest.
No personal information is shared or sold to any third-party company to enable it to market its services to you.

WISANZ may use anonymized information or content, such as posts or comments, from our online community forums, including the Space Up! high school club Community Forum, for promotional or communications purposes, including social media posts. This may include anonymised quotes or images where people are not identifiable. Personally identifiable posts made within the community forum section of our website are not shared by WISANZ beyond the community without your permission. The WISANZ Committee may seek permission from members to use content posted in our online Community Forums that identifies the author, or images where the member is identifiable, for promotional or communications purposes.
