Happy 1st Birthday to WISANZ!
Wow, what a year it has been!
Women in Space Aotearoa New Zealand (WISANZ) launched on the 4th October 2021 to coincide with World Space Week. Since then we’ve gone from strength to strength and now have over 100 financial members and a mailing list of 300+.

To celebrate our 1st birthday, and World Space Week 2022, we are holding a series of “Pathways to Space” events for students across Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington, in conjunction with our fabulous sponsors and partners. Further information can be found here.
We’re looking forward to the year ahead, furthering opportunities for women and gender minorities working in or interested in the Space Sector. We have some exciting plans in the works for our younger members - keep an eye out for an announcement early in 2023!
